Our Core Vision
and Mission
Ramanalayam is situated in an area where people were displaced for more than 30 years due to war. The returning community will find Ramanalayam as a tranquil sanctuary for reflection and inner peace.
Saraswathy Illam was established with the intention of providing day-care support for the elderly who live in the vicinity of the Ashram. The aim of Saraswathy Illam is to provide this service on a spiritual foundation, with the blessings and guidance of Ramana Maharshi.

A just society living in harmony with fellow human beings and the world around us, guided by Sanatana Dharma.
Mission
Affirming the Dharmic principles of Compassion and Justice, guided by the Spiritual Instructions of Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi, the mission of Ramanalayam is to serve devotees, spiritual aspirants and those senior citizens and vulnerable people living in the vicinity of the Ashram who are now resettling after a displacement of more than 30 years.
