Yogasana and Pranayama at the Ashram

The Ashram provides an environment for people of all ages to learn Yogasana at the premises. The style of yoga taught is derived from a variety of schools including Iyengar, Hatha, Kriya, Vinyasa and Kundalini yoga. Classes are held each Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 06:30 am. 

From time to time Yoga retreats are also held with up to 20 participants. The last one held was in September, 2020. In addition to the physical aspects of yoga, the spiritual significance of yoga asanas as part of the Ashtanga Yoga that provides spiritual aspirants the guideline for the 8 progressions in yogic traditions and the adoption of life style changes were explained to participants. Breathing techniques (Pranayama) and the principles of meditation (oneness of mind) are also a part of the instruction.
